CoinPayments and BitPay have joined forces with BigCommerce (Nasdaq: BIGC), a well-known software-as-a-service (SaaS) ecommerce platform, to enable retailers to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
BigCommerce allows businesses to create their own online stores with a simple setup and partner connections. Each of the approximately 60,000 retailers backed by this business model may now take bitcoin as payment.
